He is survived by his partner Robert Watson, two brothers and a sister.

WOW!!  I did not know he was gay!!  ???  But, come to think of it -- those scenes when Burke kissed Vicki seemed to me to be a little insincere and awkward.  I guess it didn't help that Burke had just smoked a cigarette before they kissed.  ::)  Eww!!  Cigarette Breath!  :o

The man was an actor....he should have been able to kiss Lassie with passion if that's what the director wanted.  What has his sexual orientation got to do with it?

Oh, I'm sorry if I offended you, Raineypark.  [signerror] I  just thought I was making light of the situation.  He WAS a very good actor, [clap] and his sexual orientation indeed has NOTHING to do with it!  ;)

I have been watching those episodes lately, and noticed the smoking.  I know I used to hate "smoker's breath" when I kissed someone who smoked. ::)  I certainly am glad my husband does NOT smoke!!  :D

My thoughts exactley. Sexual orientation should have nothing to do performance in any sense. Though I take no offense to other opinions. I actually thought he was kinda sexy and liked his sexual stuff (if you can call it that for daytime 60'ish live TV)
Anthony George had a nice, dignified and gentle quality and that's why I'm peeved Jeremiah was so dehumanized when he came the "ghost of Jeremiah". The character deserved better.

I thought this, too.  The writers seemed to hint at a budding romance between Vicki and Jeremiah.  They had several good scenes together.  Jeremiah's role seemed to have been sped up and eliminated.

I wouldn't have minded seeing a Victoria/Jeremiah romance had George stayed on DS (I would've enjoyed that far more than Peter and Victoria).

I agree about Jeremiah's ghost.

Welcome, Melanie!  I enjoyed your Quentin video, also.  Nice editing!

BTW, the color code was removed from your message so the text can be read without highlighting it.

Glad you enjoyed the Quentin vid as well.  Thanks for changing the font color, didn't realize it was going to post on a blue background.   :)

I agree with Rainey about an actor's sexual orientation.  That should have nothing at all to do with love scenes.  I think that on DS, the problem between Tony and Alexandra Moltke was Ms. Moltke's inexperience with doing love scenes.  Tony and Mary Stuart on Search for Tomorrow kept things steamy in Henderson for five years.
