Hi, DarkShadows. Welcome to the board.
I'm really happy that you've decided to register and join the group. I hope you'll have as much fun here as the rest of us do. But I do feel that I should give you (as well as anyone else I may not have picked up on) a few friendly words of warning concerning the image you've chosen to use as your avatar. If you operate the Web site that image is stored on, then you certainly have every right to use it here, so please disregard what I'm about to say. However, if you don't, you may not realize this, but it's not considered good form to "borrow" an image from one person's Web site and use it on another without their permission. Not only does that infringe on the Web site creator's copyright, but it could put a strain on the site's bandwidth. If the site's host puts a limit on bandwidth usage, by linking to that image you could cause problems for the site's creator. Problems that he/she would be completely innocent of causing on his/her own. And it's frequently the case that hosts will actually shut down sites that go over their alotted bandwidth usage.
Now, I realize the image you're using is small, but repeated links to it could cause quite a bit of bandwidth usage over a period of time as you make more posts here on the forum. So, if you are not the creator of that site, I would please ask that you not link to that image and perhaps choose an avatar from the ones we've provided or use an image that is stored on a site that you operate. If, however, you are the site's operator, please accept my apology for going on about this topic. But I'm sure you'll understand where I'm coming from.
Thanks,
The MB
