Trask slaps mortar on the last of the bricks. He is a terrible Mason. Julia is looking for Barnabas. Gerard suspects Trask knows where Barnabas is. Julia goes to Q's cell and he feels that his enemies are same as Her brothers.
Daphne talks to Gerard. He says a spirit was carrying knife. He suggests leaving a note to Johanna from Q in the tree.
Trask keeps going to to the walled up Barnabas. Adding more torture to the trapped man. Gerard tells Trask Q is planning to get help from the spirit world.

Trask has Barnabas walled up and really enjoys taunting him. Julia is extremely suspicious of Trask and Gerard but has no proof that they have done anything.
Gerard lies to Daphne about having seen Joanna's spirit the night before and manipulates her into having Quentin write a note that will further incriminate him. And Trask is there to confiscate it. Yawn.
Exactly what help would Barnabas have been in the trial? Beyond being a character witness, he can't provide any testimony that would help Quentin.
