Several settlers and travelers are taken captive by a band of renegade Indians and sold to white mercenaries for slave labor and prostitution.

"Women for Sale", Pt. 2  at 6 p.m. Eastern and Pacific Times
Marshal Dillon rescues Stella and Marcy from their Indian captor, and they accompany the Marshal as he tries to stop a white-slave trader from escaping to Mexico with his potential slaves.

HI Midnite, i was watching Gun Smoke today but i didn't see the whole
thing. Now i wish that i had. Guess Kathy will be at the DS FEST this
yr in Calif.  But can't make the one there will go next yr .

OMG, what a backstabber! Literally and figuratively!

I caught an episode of Gunsmoke by accident yesterday (Sunday, January 30), when I noticed Kathy Cody, but this was not the episode described here.

Kathy Cody gave a polished performance, and I especially watched her reactions when she wasn't speaking, and she was very natural and believable.  It was a sizable role and one I would describe as "promising."  I don't know anything about her career after this.
