I'm new to the forum, but I've been a fan of Dark Shadows for years. Although I've seen more of it in bits and pieces instead of seeing it from beginning to end.

I didn't get to see it on Scifi channel when it aired. I couldn't get my cable company to carry that channel.

Now that it is out on DVD maybe I'll get to see more of it the way it is suppose to be seen.

Hello,

I'm also a new member. I just started watching D.S. a couple of months ago, My mom always talked about the show when I was growing up, she was one of those kids who ran home from school. I watched the '91 series but never saw any of the original shows till now

I just started collecting the dvds and I'm working my way through them-I'm halfway through Collection 6. I've never seen the show before so its all new to me & its very addictive. I always think I'll end up watching one or two shows at a time, but end up watching a full disc's worth

I'm getting D.S. overload..for Christmas I got 2 of the books (D.S. Memories & the Millennium Almanac) and I got the Anniversary & Reunion Dvd's. And I picked up the 2 movies as well. I'm just loving the show so much that I just want to take in as much as I can.

Thanks for letting my join the forum and letting me share & learn even more...

I have done the same thing over the holidays knocking out 2 vols in 3 days my eyes were tired  [shockeyes]
and I think the DVD player was going to exploid  [5393]

Welcome aboard! Watching on DVD is the only way to go in my book! you don't have any pesky commercials or have to wait until the next day to find out what happens next (unless you have run out of the DVDs HAHAH) ;D

Umm - if they're going to send any sort of fees to anyone, shouldn't it be to one of the two people who pays for all this insanity?  [b003]  (Though, of course, we both do this as a labor of love (we still do it for that reason - right?  [lghy]), so NO fees are necessary.  :))

I'm new to the forum. I started watching DS with my older sister when they started showing them on Sci-fi.  Don't get to watch anymore now the Sci-fi stopped showing them :'(

But I'm still hoping another channel may pick it back up again. Maybe like the Mystery Channel or something.
