after 2 days of voting, so far there are 2 actors, 1 actress, and 2 couples that have been voted for on each ballot submitted. So far, it looks like a very competitive group in the acting categories. Its all so exciting!

do your d.s. duty and don't forget to vote everyone!there are only a few days left.

when i voted i was dissapointed that the supporting actor/actress category had been eliminated.i think it is going to freeze some actors out who maybe didn't get the most screen time.
sleep 'til noon and your punishment shall be the dregs of the coffeepot.

the reason why i got rid of the supporting categories was because at one point, many of the actors were in lead roles, then in another storyline, they were reduced to supporting roles. So it wouldnt be right if I put Nancy Barrett in supporting even though she was the Lead actress in the Adam Storyline and the Leviathans storyline. Had I done a seperate ceremony for each storyline, I would be able to include the supporting categories. And the reason why didnt make seperate ceremonies was because it would take too long and too much work.

I agree that write-in votes should be allowed and even encouraged.  Even the fictional town of Collinsport existed in a democracy, didn't it?  As a newbie poster and dyed in the wool GH fan going waaaaaay back to Grayson's first appearance in 1967, how can I not vote for Julia and Barnabas as Most Romantic Couple?  It would be a sacrilege, I tell you!!!   Julia was Barnabas's rock, the person he always turned to, and if that ain't love, I don't know what is.  All that huggy, kissy stuff...well, you can find that in any bar in the wee hours of the morning but it doesn't mean its genuine or going to last.LOL.  Julia represented Barnabas's lost humanity and helped him find his way back - and hers as well.  Remember, she didn't start off as a very nice person although, to her credit, she never offed a kid.  Any other old hippies out there who remember the cry "power to the people"?   I do find the list of nominees  pretty complete and thorough aside from this single oversight.  But B/J fans know better and so I humbly suggest that you vote with your heart.    [luv]

Oh, no - it's yet another one!!
(Just joking, Countess. We love GH, and all her fans.  ;)  Welcome to the forum.  :))

(Has anyone ever wondered whatever became of the dyed in the wool RD fans? Just where are they these days? Where are the RD lists, devotional Web sites, and fanzines?  [hdscrt]  (Or is it a case that they all just finally came to their senses?  [lghy]))

Hi Countess, I'm an old hippie, and I'm *mad* about Grayson Hall!  (Mad, I tell you!)  She was a socialist from waaayy back and I love that about her, too.

MB, I read a report from Mac Expo that Steve Jobs has developed a search engine capable of locating even the few RD fans out there in webland.  When he said "insanely great," he meant it, emphasis on "insane"!

Gothick who is about to purchase his very first iBook... is the world ready???

like I've said before, as much as I view Julia and Barnabas as a romantic couple, I had a really tough time deciding what category they should be on. And it just so happened when I asked the opinion of people on this board that day, there were a lot who felt that they shouldnt be in the romantic category because they were never an official couple on the show.

as a response to write in votes, they arent counted. Actually, there was only one person who did that, so the nominations they wrote wouldnt even stand a chance. Its too late to be counting write in votes because prenomination voting ends this saturday. And its not fair to the people who already voted.

And please, I dont encourge people to vote for Julia and Barnabas in the romantic couple because that will lower their chance of winning the Duo category. So if you write them in the Romantic couple category, its wont get counted and it will all just be a waste for them.

LOL - Yeah...another Mac convert!  {wringing hands together}   :-*

Welcome to the board, Countess... too much is not enough, as far as Grayson is concerned.  >:D

-Heather (who, just for the record, voted in the prenominations as per DStoDA's instructions, of course) xo

Point taken, however you have overlooked the possibility that Julia and Barnabas could win both categories.  I realize it's too late to change categories (duh!) but I sure hope all B/J fans insist that our fave couple be included in the Romantic Duo category next year.  I think it only democratic to let the voters decide and not only those making the agonizing decision of whom to place in which category.  Okay, sermon over kids!  Two categories I'd LIKE to see - Favorite Villain and Favorite Victim (Vicki wins hands down.  Did it never occur to that poor girl to get the heck outta there? LOL)  Members?

I must say I'm enjoying this forum.  It's a lot of fun and the fans, although not always in agreement, are always respectful of other members opinions.  I can't tell you how rare - and refreshing - that is.

Welcome, Countess, and thank's for the compliment.  :D

Without sleep, I might add......I log on here at all hours of the day and night and one or another of them always seems to be here.  ;)

Oh, but there would ALWAYS be one to replace the victim if they should leave Collinsport. Who else would the villains pick on? ~DJ
