([pointing-up]  The funny thing is my mother read it and loved it. She lapped up all sorts of "nurse" paperbacks. I never understood what she saw in them. But hey, I always said, if she liked them, more power to her!!  [nodassent])

At one of the early festivals in Newark, a couple of fans gave a dramatic reading from the collected works of Marilyn Ross and I believe that this was one of them. I ordinarily have a high tolerance for the absurd but that exceeded my limits by leaps and bounds.
