Valerie reminds me a little of Alexandra here.  Her marriage to Thayer happened around ten years after this picture was released. Legendary character actor Henry Daniell is also on hand in a minor supporting role.

I saw her recently (like a week or two ago) in 1956's JUBAL (a western) with Glen Ford & Ernie Borgnine. She played a married seductress, was quite good, and quite beautiful, and billed as "Introducing". I wanted to announce it's airing but didn't get to it.
