New Phishing Attack Uses Old IE Exploit
« on: November 06, 2004, 02:43:58 AM »
A new phishing attack is utilizing a vulnerability in Internet Explorer, patched early this year, to hide its true source. Citifraud.A appears to come from a bank. Find out more about this "high" level threat

I've actually received this e-mail at least four times in the last month. But, of course, I don't use IE, and I also don't have a credit card with CitiBank, so I deleted them without even bothering to check them out. IE users should definitely do the same.
