Fox's Rocky Horror Remake

I still question them casting a woman as Frank-N-Furter. The whole fun of the part is that Frank is a transvestite. But who knows - things may work out beautifully with the casting of Laverne Cox. But the Penny Dreadful-related part of this news is a welcome surprise:

I'm questioning the need for this remake.  The original is a classic for most of us of "a certain age," and I think for many younger people who were born years after the 1975 film.  Also, we have the recent BBC live version of the stage show, which I thought was great!  This remake is going to have some pretty big teddies to fill...

Dr Frank looks like a bondage version of Eartha Kitt's Catwoman after she had been given collagen implants by Mr Freeze.

Riff Raff looks like the love child of Cruella de Vil and Dorian Gray.
