OT<E-mail Question
« on: September 03, 2004, 12:21:56 PM »
On movies, sometimes a person will just sit at any computer and log on to their own e-mail.

Is this plausible/possible?

I use (cover your ears MB) Outlook Express; but, I believe this is through my dsl line.

If I were at a computer not my own, would I be able to ??log on?? and retrieve/send my own e-mail?

Thanks,

Patti

This isn't at all related to using the forums, but yes, webmail allows you to read and send new mail from any location using your web browser.  Go to the homepage of your email service provider and look for a link to webmail.  The address will usually be webmail.<domain name>.xxx, for example http://webmail.earthlink.net or http://webmail.aol.com, and you'll be required to log in with your email address (or screen name) and account password.
