Much thought goes into the selection of a music box melody. It often reflects in some way the person, who is to receive it. For instance, if  Angelique gave Barnabas a music box, it might play the "Theme from Batman" or "If I Can't Have You, I Don't Want Nobody Baby." Let see what tunes, depending on the presenters and receivers, everyone can suggest.

Hey Ringo this is your kind of post! But everyone is welcome to join in and have fun- LOL ;D

Here are a few, quick obvious ones:

Barnabas to Angelique: I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That" (Taupin/John)  ::)

Petofi to Aristede: "Honesty" (Joel)  :o

Barnabas to himself (in memory of Josette): "C'Etait Toi (You Were the One)" (Joel)  :'(

Barnabas: "Long Dark Night"

Angelique:  "Never Ending Love"

Barnabas:  "Strangers In The Night"

Victoria Winters:  "Remember Me"

Ben Stokes:  "Little Brown Jug"

These are older songs but they work.

Magda Racosi to Sandor Racosi - Close To You (The Carpenters)

The Eagle Hill Cemetery Caretaker - Just A Gigolo
(Louis Prima)

Nicholas Blair - See Quentin Collins above

Dirk Wilkins - People Are Strange (Jim  Morrison and the Doors)

Pansy Faye - I Get Around (The Beach Boys)

Rev. Gregory Trask - Harper Valley, PTA (Jeannie C. Riley)

Gerard Stiles- Positively Fourth Street (The "Man" a/k/a Bob Dylan)

"Buzz" Hackett - Take This Job And Shove It - (Johnny Paycheck)

Roger Collins to Cassandra Blair - I Get A Kick Out Of You (Cole Porter as interpreted by F. Sinatra)

Abigail Collins - Beast of Burden (Mick Jagger, Keith Richard and the Stones)

Barnabas Collins to Josette DuPre - Got To Get You Into My Life (John Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney plus George and Ringo of You-Know-Who!)

Vam,

Thanks for the kind words.  Here's one more I just thought of:

Professor T. Elliot Stokes to Madame Findley - Light My Fire (Jose Feliciano as interpreted by Jim Morrison and the Doors)

I can just see the learned Stokes intoning to the alluring Madame Findley, "Come on baby, light my fire, trying to set the night on fire..."

Bob the Bartender, who does not believe in Martians, but is not quite sure about the existence of the Leprechauns.

Jeb to Carolyn - The Shadow of Yer Smile

For Judah Z - Don't Get Around Much More

For Nicholas - Red Caddilac and A Black Moustache

For Angie - I Can See For Miles

For The So-Called Rev. Trash - Thick as A Brick

For Laura Collins - Burning Down The House

For the Dream Curse Kids - I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night [ Electric Prunes]

Night of Dark Shadows Angie - She Hangs Out/What Am I Doin' Hanging 'round? [Monkees Medley]

From me to TLATKLS - You Are So Beautiful, To Me [- written by Billy Preston]

I gotta go to bed, so I can get up to hand the Ticketmonster a couple of house payments in the morning! >:(

The suggestions so far have been too precious!

A friend suggested that a suitable theme for Adam to present to Eve would be You Were Made For Me by Freddie and The Dreamers.

I could just visulize the Rev. Trask presenting one to Angelique that played "Devil With the Blue Dress ON"and she gave him one that played "Brick House" in return!

Or "Another Brick in the Wall."   ;)

Angelique could have a music box that played "Needles and Pins," or better yet, "Evil Woman."
