Hmmm. Johnson is too long ([heh]) and Bland and Brand don't seem to fit. I guess it can't be them.  [wink2]

Hmm?????  I don't get it.
Are we talking about this week's or the new NEXT week's??

Both have Dark Shadows clues.
I don't know that 1991 series, but I sure as hell know that next week's 4 Down is Trask!!    Yay.
There's also a Falcon Crest clue in the puzzle and I've been told that there was another FC clue a couple of weeks ago.  What's happening here??!!

Hey - I think in the NEXT issue they should have:

Across
     1. The lovely and talented Q-Man    (Annie will be able to fill in that one)  [wave]

Trask is certainly DS' most well known Reverend (and of course he's the answer to: 4 down's "Dark Shadows reverend" in the February 14th issue) - but there are others:
  • Reverend Johnson married Gerard and Daphne
  • Reverend Bland married Barnabas and Angelique
  • and Reverend Brand married Jeb and Carolyn
  • (there's also Reverend Brook (who was supposed to marry Barnabas and Josette, and who was played by the same actor (Paul Kirk Giles) who played Reverend Bland), but I didn't include him.
My response to Rainey was obviously a joke. But I suppose it sort of loses something when you have to explain it.  [b003]

A few times in the TV Guide Crossword Puzzle I've noticed the clue for a 7 letter word- "Dark Shadows Roy" or "Roy of Dark Shadows".  I still associate the answer to that one with "The Invaders" tv show.

The REAL joke was that I wasn't doing the crossword....my husband was....and he turned to me and asked "Why the hell do I know that the answer to this is TRASK?"

We've been married a long time.  ;)

[lghy]  That's wild!

See, even if someone isn't a fan themself, DS slips into their subconsciousness anyway.  [wink2]

While I, of course, knew the answer to the DS question, I didn't know the answers for the questions which run across Trask.  Shows how little I actually watch television anymore.

I don't watch much T.V. anymore either Gerard.  You should see us at nieghborhood parties.  They never talk about DS at them, only shows I have never seen.  Connie love your aivator.  Very hot.  Rainey, my husband can pick out the actors from DS when he sees them in other productions now.  We train them right.
