Roger Davis on Twilight Zone
« on: January 05, 2004, 12:22:56 AM »
I was watching the Twilight Zone Marathon last week, and I'll be darned if Roger "isn't my hair beautiful" Davis wasn't in it.

It was the one were a young, rich girl is riding her horse and this woman is chasing her, so she runs home, tell her parents and her fiance about it.  There a knock at the door and here come Roger Davis.  He's the old boyfriend.
Cut to the chase...she marries him, and the old woman was her, trying to tell her not to marry...you guess it, Roger Davis.  Her life now is terrible.

Anybody see it?
Cassandra:  I have a potion.  You know it well.  As soon as she drinks it, within an hour, she will go to sleep and have the dream.
Nicholas:  I am much to talented to spend my time drugging drinks.

I remember that one!

And I just saw Kathy Cody on The Waltons (on TV Land) this morning.  She played John Boy's sorta-girlfriend and his date to a dance at their college.  When Mary-Ellen lost a ring in the girls' john during the dance (a college boy asked her out - ooo!), the next day Kathy Cody climbed through the window to get it back.  Oh, and she was billed as "Kathleen" Cody.

I saw that one, too, and have it on dvd as well. Always one of my favorite TZ episodes.

The Twilight Zone ep I was hoping they'd play so I could tape it is the one with Elizabeth Montgomery & Charles Bronson as post-WW3 survivors. I can't seem to find that on dvd.

I also love that one (with Bronson and Montgomery).  She had only one word of dialogue in that episode:  "Prykrasny."  Natch, that's Russian (since she played a Soviet soldier), but here's the question:  what does that mean?  (I know!  But I ain't gonna say.)

Ding!  Ding!  Ding!  You win, Rainey!  Unfortunately, it's a one-year free subscription to the Sci-Fi Channel.  Maybe you can pass it on to some relative, just like a Christmas fruitcake. :)

that episode was scary because the old Anne was more
weird than RD's charactor! when she is chasing her young self
to try to stop her she looks  like  old hag screaming! makes you wonder if Victoria Winters would have been like that after 20 years with
Peter Bradford [lol2]

jennifer
also love Elizabeth Montgomery another taken too soon :'(

LOL, what an awful image of Miss Winters this brings to mind.

Now you would think that the "old" Anne (she's all of 43!) would have the sense to act less hysterical on approaching her younger self.  I guess that's what more than 20 years of life with any RD character will do to a gal.  Very, very scary!  [lghy]
