The novel, written by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan, upon which this series is based, is one of the best vampire novels I've ever read.  The opening, where a jetliner lands in New York City and suddenly all operations cease on the tarmac, and all passengers and crew inside are found dead with their blood drained, turned my own blood cold.

Thanks for sharing these teasers--I had no idea this was going to be a series.  I read all three novels (yes, it's a trilogy), and they were truly "page-turners."  Unconventional vampires, yes; creepy, frightening and enthralling, yes!  (Frankly, I gave up on True Blood after the third season--not so enthralling!)  I hope this series follows the novels--if so, it will present an excellent new take on the vampire mythology.

Okay, so how can I add a bunny to this post--they're so CUTE!  Oh, wait, I need to think NIGHT OF THE LEPUS.   [easter_wink]
