[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

Set-up:
Amy: "Mrs. Stoddard!!!  Why did the funny professor just ________, as he was leaving?!  I don't think he's so funny anymore!!"
Stokes: "Time to beat a hasty retreat, I think!!"

(  Just for the record, that's actually Barnabas' back. But considering it's not obvious that it is, we definitely allow characters to be identified as other characters whenever their actual identities aren't clear in captures. And in fact, it really does look like Stokes' back more than it does Barnabas' in this case. So everything is good.  )

(Oops, sorry.  It only seems funny if it's Stokes...)

(No problem. Like I said, you can't really tell who it is, so it can really be almost any man. And Stokes works really well!  )
