ATTN: SF Bay Area fans:
San Francisco's iconic movie palace The Castro Theater pays tribute to the late, great Karen Black on Wed. September 18.
The evening includes Dan Curtis' ghost story Burnt Offerings, a very DS like film!

Here's my story on the event from this week's Bay Area Reporter:

Kathryn Leigh Scott, who played Karen's sister in The Great Gatsby, gave me a lovely quote for the article.

Just announced over the weekend, after my story was published: the tribute also includes Black's most famous role: The Zuni Fetish doll sequence from Curtis' Trilogy of Terror!
