my son's kindergarden has 18 students and on teacher they took away the aide!all day! it is a disgrace!

Oh MB...waddya you complaining about...come on...Iraq NEEDS 34 B I L L I O N dollars to rebuild (since we tore it down).

I mean, hey, who needs health insurance or quality education?

(in my own district...no art, no music) only 2 3rd grade teachers, plus many, many cuts AND they've SUBSTANTIALLY raised property insurance, ie, less for more!

But hey....let's give some $$$ to some 'underpriviledged' country (like, America)

If they dropped art and music but kept the sports teams intact I suggest you and your fellow parents pick up your pitchforks and march on down to the next Board of Education meeting. How can a child who's never exposed to art and music possibly be considered "educated"

That sounds like an impressive achievement. I suspect that the fact that you had the guts and sense to switch from Windows to Mac proves that you are a smart cookie indeed!

others may have swooned over rock stars but it was Jim Palmer

My iMac came with AppleWorks, which is the Mac equivalent of MS Office. Also, my school offers MS Office (for Windows or Mac) to all students for free.
