I voted for NoDS. Even in its non-restored form I like it quite a bit better than hoDS (which I view as something of a guilty pleasure).

I think what makes it so exceptional is that it tells its own story.  The Lyndhurst setting, the cast we know and love so much, and the Bob Cobert score are elements that "make it DS" for me.

I will go with HODS. It's more to my taste than the other two. I did enjoy the Depp movie quite a bit but NODS puts me to sleep

I selected HODS over NODS only because I've not seen the 129 min cut of the latter. Both films suffered from severe editing, but I think HODS came out of that process stronger.

I had never seen NoDS; I believe years ago, Darren Gross posted on here that he was doing a 'chat' with Warner Bros., and he encouraged us to be a part.
IIRC, that was my first time doing something like that, and I got in the last question which WB spokesperson answered.
(Naturally, it was will NoDS ever be released commercially!)
I don't remember their evasive answer...but, hey, at least it was....and now I own it!!

I picked HODS because I can never think of Tracy's last line in NODS without laughing. Sad but true.
