I guess the cameraman was drinking the same thing I've been drinking this morning (unenhanced coffee), because I can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong with the picture - other than Angelexis' fashion faux pas!

Other than the weird way the chandelier is hanging, I haven't a clue what could be wrong here.

I had no idea this was a preview shot. And I had just turned from the TV when this scene was airing today. By the time I turned to face the TV, the shot was at waist-level. I'm guessing that the dress showing below the quilted picker-upper jacket is not what Ange should have been wearing, (It's the dress she wore in the scene where Carolyn see's her dead in her memory, the dress Ange wore in the portrait, and was buried in[?]).

Wondering dom.

As to whether or not this is an urban legend, I remember hearing of an account where Louis Edmonds thought he was done for the day and was in his dressing robe, disrobing.  They came pounding at his door, saying he had one more scene.  He rushed to the set, still in his shirt, but sans slacks (he did have his unmentionables one).  Apparently, they shot the scene - waist up.

Maybe it's not the dress at all. Perhaps the statuette shouldn't be there? But I'd slap the prop man for that, not the camera man.

The fact that Angelique is wearing a nightgown to go out for a stroll is strange enough, but why is she still wearing her coat and scarf inside?   Why didn't she hang up her coat downstairs in the foyer like everyone usually does when they enter the house?

That looks to be the same long gown that Carolyn had in her vision of Angelique's murder so it looks like they shot the scene in question right after that and forgot to have her change her clothes.

Exactly. They have Lara wearing a kerchief to cover up the fact that she has her hair done up in Angelique's fancy coiffure and a coat (let's not even get into the fact that no one in their right mind would be wearing a coat like that in the middle of June! ) to cover the fact that she's also wearing Angelique's blue gown - all because the show's live on tape shooting method requires her to be ready for Carlolyn's vision. And what does the cameraman do? He takes a long shot that completely defeats the entire purpose of Lara having worn the kerchief and coat! Where was his mind when the director was explaining the camera blocking for that scene?! Obviously a million miles away.

Where was the Technical Director who set the shot up in the first place?  S/he should have instructed the cameraman to close that shot up before the Director had to call for the take......

Certainly nobody would put Angie forward as an example of good mental health, but corpse girl is always getting cold - maybe she needed the coat to guard against that infernal chill she's always feeling.

The funny thing is that whenever there's a big storm raging outside we usually see everyone running out into the night minus their coats or umbrella's!   (I've yet to see anyone carrying an umbrella during a storm)     Yet, here we have Angelexis, already in the house, up in her room in the East wing, still wearing a coat & scarf?!!  Only in Collinwood!!
