Presumably that is an intentional spelling of "Bat - stille" Day to be in keeping with the theme and all your bats.  ;D

Actually, the spelling and the holiday itself were taken from a 1969 calendar that was sold by the official DS fan club during the show's original run. In fact, most of the "holidays" or "events" that are on the forum's calendar were taken from that particular calendar. ;)

Thanks for mentioning about the 1969 DS fan club calendar; I'd never heard about that before.

I was gratified to see that on July 26, there will be a special picnic in a cemetery (it must be Eagle Hill, surely?).  That's my birthday.
