I got a kick out of this.  Thanks for posting it!  All the same, I'm wondering if we couldn't add our own unique touches to it    

You know, something like:

Sip if Roger pours himself a brandy.
Chug if Roger drinks something other than brandy.
Chug if Roger declines a drink.
Sip everytime someone wails, "I don't understand!"
Drink everytime that the family decides to have a seance . . .

And?

a shot every time a character [esp any played by J Bennett - she does it a lot] repeats the line or question just put to them.

example:
'Liz, you look like you're unhappy'   JB: 'Do I?'

'Naomi, you seem distant'  JB: 'Do I seem distant?'

I used to do that pretty regularly on my former day job, just to buy the time to think of a 'snappy' come back! [or think of my line!]

That was a good list on that link - but jeeeezzz - the line 'my name is Ringo, and I'm an alcoholic' would soon be pretty common! :-/

but one could get really snockered if they drank each time a Roger Davis character touched HIS hair!

And I don't think that drinking upon the appearance of our scene stealing friend IMA Fly (as Robin calls her) has been mentioned!

When I first discovered the Dark Shadows Drinking Game, I emailed the guy who had the page and told him how great it is.  He said that he and his friends had invented it to give themselves (a bunch of college guys) an excuse to sit around and watch a soap opera everyday...

I finally have something to add to the Dark Shadows Drinking Game!  How 'bout when someone enters a room that has been closed for months, and there are candles burning. (for example when Joshua opened the mausoleum to look for Barnabus, and the candles were still burning in the corner).
Drink!

How about when someone finally retires for the night
these people are always up all night(maybe they sense
that Barnabas needs the company!)

Actually I know of a much easier Dark Shadows Drinking Game with only one rule to remember (which is good because after awhile you're too drunk to remember more than one)!

DRINK every time someone says the name "Collins" - "Collinsport" and "Collinwood" count too. You'll be smashed after the first 15 minutes.

There should be a warning listed in the instructions to this game saying, "This game can cause temporary amnesia" The last time I played that is exactly what happened. I woke up the next day saying, "Did I win"?
