CBS: "Elementary" (11 million, 6.9/11)
ABC: "Scandal" (7.6 million, 5.3/9)
NBC: "Law & Order: SVU" rerun (3.9 million, 2.7/4)

18-49 leader: "Scandal" (2.7)

Elementary up a bit, Scandal down a bit - but pretty much the same.

JLMiller was in rare form in last night's episode. He really played up the physical quirkiness of the character - I loved it. As always, thanks for the numbers, MB.

Reruns of Elementary continue to do well - even a rerun of the-post Super Bowl ep, which was the show's most watched ep this season when it first ran:

10 p.m:
CBS: "Elementary" (7.7 million, 5.0/9)
NBC: "Law & Order: SVU" rerun (3.8 million, 2.7/5)
ABC: "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars" rerun (2.8 million, 2.0/3)

18-49 leader: "Elementary" (1.6)

And ABC would probably do well to keep Scandal at 10 because moving it to 9 to make way for the Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars special rerun didn't exactly do that special or Scandal any favors:

ABC: "Scandal" rerun (3.3 million, 2.4/4)

That's the worst a rerun of Scandal has done this season.

And BTW, Elementary is a repeat again next week - but there will be a new ep on the 14th.

Viewership-wise, that's Elementary's highest rated rerun yet. It smoked the competition!

Good sign for the show. Last night's ep was good. My watching companion pretty much guessed it though in the first ten minutes -- I hate that, lol.

LOL  If the plot hadn't been so similar to the college reunion episode of Monk [spoiler]in which a man planned to murder his wife with impunity using her old handwritten suicide letter[/spoiler] (updated to a video by Elementary), I probably would've missed the connection too.  [snow_smiley]

I didn't see that Monk ep, so I didn't pick it up. But 9 times out of 10 it's the husband, anyway.  [snow_wink]  Though honestly, the best part of the ep had nothing to do with the case(s) - it was watching Joan do her own investigating.  [snow_smiley]

And another great episode! JLM is awesome as Sherlock. I am looking forward to watching DS12 again just to see him as Roger. Maybe I'll start looking up and watching his movies too. I think I've only seen him in TRAINSPOTTING. Thanx for the overnights, MB. I am always happy to see ELEMENTARY in the #1 spot.

As those familiar with the character know, Irene Adler is very important in the Sherlock Holmes universe, regardless of the incarnation.

I just had my first view of her the other day in Captain America. I just read her Wiki Bio and it looks as though she will be a good fit - she gets good reviews for her work. I'll bet she'll help make it a fantastic three episode arc. I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the link, MB.
