Be sure to check out  the farewell montages dedicated to some of our favorite (and perhaps not so favorite ;)) characters who have made their final appearances on DS during today's two episodes. :(

The Roger Collins farewell montage appears at the top of every MessageIndex, while farewells to Nicholas Blair and Chris/Sabrina trade off appearing at the top of topics, depending on which board you're currently reading.

It almost makes me want to pull out a hanky, because basically we're seeing the beginning of the end.  First, Carolyn is no longer Carolyn Collins Stoddard.  Now she's Mrs. Carolyn Hawkes.  Normal Time Roger is leaving us.  And the saddest thing of all:  a few months from now, there'll be............Hallie Stokes.

I find this very interesting!  It seems hard to believe that Roger never again appears in the present day on the show.  He's not seen at all between 1995 and the 1840 flashback?  I never realized this!

How fortunate that we have the MB to keep us informed of these interesting bits of trivia!

I don't know if any of you watched AMERICAN IDOL this past season, but I came to the conclusion that Carmen Rasmussen was the Hallie Stokes of AI.

You know what, John?  I've never seen a single episode of AI.  Now I'm glad I haven't.

I love the montage featuring Roger, especially the black and white photos from early in the show. And Louis Edmonds was just so good.[crossbones]One of the great soap characters. Edmonds may play other characters but I will miss Roger.[snake]

Wow, I never realized this either!  And it is hard to believe and also sad to know this.  I'll miss the old Roger.

Great Montages, darling Maestro misterioso!  Superb work as always.

I'll have to try and figure out which show that WEIRD shot of Liz with the black tape on her nose is from.  I recall that being discussed some years back, I think in one of Luciaphil's episode commentaries.

I'm not sure I've ever seen that episode, but it must be among my tapes, since I have all the shows from June 1967 onwards.

Actually Gerard...I think it's 'magic' writing on a mirror, IIRC.

Yes, that's when Magda, presumably, wrote "JAMISON" across the mirror in Carolyn's room.
