ABC responded to the Prospect Park lawsuit, calling the charges "baseless". This could go on for quite a while.

They both started today. And anyone who's had trouble finding them for free can actually watch them via the TV Guide Web site as part of this article: Did You Watch All My Children and One Life to Live Today?

I watched AMC last night, and it was like seeing an old friend. The differences between ABC and TOLN were not as stark as I had imagined, there is still much mystery regarding the ending of the ABC version, and David Hayward is back! LOVED the chemistry between Opal and Petey, it was very genuine. I found it extremely satisfying. Also, I was able to view the entire episode for free on Hulu.

I JUST WATCHED NEW OLTL!!!!!!!

I cannot believe it!!!

(ooohhh.....cursing.....)

I was very happy that it wasn't 'jerky' (ie, the viewing on-line), but, I had to leave my 'puter for a while; I paused OL and when I returned UBER-jerky.

It's now well into Tuesday; I believe I'll go to Hulu and see if next installment is available.

Thanks so much!!!!

Patti

I just had to jinx it.
I went to Hulu, saw the listing for today's OLTL ep....
Even the beginning commercial was 'jerky'; wouldn't really load.

Anyone have any suggestions; I do not have 5 hours to watch a 30 minute program.

Thanks,

Patti

Well, I just watched using my daughter's laptop; it worked wonderfully!
(Doesn't make sense though; it's a network computer...) [easter_huh]

LOVING IT!!!!

PS...I've seen peeps from here post links frequently through Huffington Post; just now, on OLTL, Dorian says, "No, don't let it be the Huffington Post" (or perhaps it was David's line).
What's up w/Huffington Post? Why is it mentionable?

Patti

Did I mention I'm LOVING it???

I watched yesterday and today, and I, too, am LOVING IT.  As someone else said, it's like visiting old friends.  And there were two surprises on the first OLTL episode: Nigel and (hope I won't spoil it for you) a character we thought dead until the last 5 minutes of the final ABC epsiode in Jan., 2012.  Plus, the language is a little more "like we talk."  The "S" word, with a variety of meanings, and, today, the a-hole word.  So much for ABC and the censors.  (Can you just imagine if Roger Collins had been permitted to call Jason an a-hole?  LOL)

Anyway, I am thrilledf to have OLTL back.

Brian

I watched the new AMC and enjoyed it for the most part except for the fast forward 5 years idea. none of the original cast looks any older and in the 1st or 2nd episode they refer to the most popular boy band, ONE DIRECTION. do they really think ONE DIRECTION will even be around in 5 yrs? even if they are around they certainly wont be a boy band anymore. I don't know why they had to even mention them instead of just making up some fake name. also the Friday episode is just a recap/talk show. so technically its just 4 half hour episodes a week. I found the best way to view the show is thru my blu ray player. there is no buffering at all and looks great.

This tells me they're not doing so well.
