It's unfortunate that your friend wasn't able to become a member while registrations were wide open until last August when we were unexpectedly forced to close access off to everyone other than previously registed members due to excessive bandwidth usage. But we'd like nothing better than to reopen registration as soon as it's feasible. The operative words there, however, are as soon as it's feasible - and, unfortunately, we haven't reached that point yet.
But as soon as we do, a notice will be posted on the forum and e-mails will be sent out to everyone who has asked to be contacted...
