Carolyn Question
« on: April 15, 2003, 05:35:39 AM »
While watching the show today I started thinking about when Carolyn was under Barnabas' power.  I can't remember if after he became human did she forget that he was a vampire.  I seem to recall that she was not under his control anymore, but still knew what he used to be.   Does anyone remember? Thanks

I do believe that once he became human (back in the Lang/Adam/dreamcurse/etc. storyline), Carolyn not only was no longer in his power, but had no recollection of him snacking on her (same with Vicki).

IIRC, it was left fairly ambiguous, or at least not definitely settled. Carolyn is seen looking at a mirror. She makes a remark about how she wasn't going to wear scarves anymore. She also said something like she didn't know why she was. So point for her not remembering.

At the same time, she takes the scarf off. Julia gasps, "they're gone!" and Carolyn is equally excited. So point for her remembering.

Where that takes us, I don't know.

Thanks for the replies.  I thought I had a slight recollection of Carolyn taking with Julia about it, but I just wasn't clear. Now I see why, they made it vague.

By the way, Luciaphil, what does IIRC mean.  I've seen you write it before, but couldn't figure it out.

IIRC=If I recall correctly or If I remember correctly.
