I just finished catching up with last weeks episodes.  There were some good highlights to several of them.

I love the fact Quentin kicked CDT butt!  If anyone needed it he did.

My favorite line Quentin to Trask  "your existing makes my life miserable"  not exactly a quote but you get the guist.

Here are a few of other strange thoughts that came into my mind.

Tim when taking to Edward had a Mae West moment "come on and see us sometime at the Blue Whale.

Amanda, who am I, what am I, where did I get these fake eye lashes.

CDT-- I wasn't trying to play God, I am not George Burns

Petofi and Beth the thought of that just makes me sick.

Petofi looking and lusting after Angelique makes my skin crawl.
That could be another reason why he is interested in the Q-man.  Not giving anything away.

I really like the scene with Julia and Angie, but didn't they know each other when she was Cassandra?  Maybe she ment she liked the "new and improved" Angie

My wonderful husband just brought me a yummy frozen lemonade treat.  Now you know why we are together after 22 almost 23 years

I really like the scene with Julia and Angie, but didn't they know each other when she was Cassandra?

I wondered the same thing, Birdie.  Julia has met Angelique before, and she certainly didn't like her the first time around (if the slap was any indication.)  Considering that there have been references to Cassandra and her stint in 1968 during this storyline, it isn't likely that the writers figured the audience had forgotten her.  Or are we supposed to count Cassandra as a separate character, distinct from Angelique?

Great observations!  :D

Biride i don't quite get what you mean. . .they had that whole conversation wherein Ang was surprised to see Julia at the Rectory--so they were obviously acknowledging that Julia and Ang (Cass) knew each other. . .??  Yeah, they should've had Angie rub her cheek remembering Julia. . .

I think that's the premise. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me either, particularly since Angelique has made reference to her time as Cassandra (that touching moment when she claimed that she cared about what happened to David, no doubt recalling those fond memories of when she rendered him mute ;) ) and other characters will recall her as well.

Yes, that was the point of their exchange. Julia said something to the effect of "I never thought I'd ever be working with you, let alone liking you," based on her past experience with Angelique in 1968.

I think that's exactly what she meant Birdie.

They did meet before and Julia remembered exactly who she was.  But back then the two of them never really sat down and had a decent conversation with each other, and judging from that slap Julia gave Cass, I doubt they ever would.. Cassandra was out to destroy Barnabas back then so the two women were enemies with one another, now however, they both have joined together to save Barnabas and the Collins family.

Now, for the first time they've really sat down and TALKED to one another without being ready to cut each others throats, and I think it just suprised Julia so much that SHE could actually like Angelique, let alone sit and have a conversation with her. ;)

Julia must've realised (ruefully) how much she and Angelique have in common.  They've both been rejected by Barnabas, and his rejection has done nothing to quell their feelings for him.  They're both passionately committed to what they believe in: Julia to medicine; Angelique to evil.

They both must be used to people taking them for granted because they're women - nobody understands just how much either character can accomplish, what they've had to sacrifice to accomplish these things (and that can be said of women in general, I suppose).  Last but not least - both have done some pretty unconscionable things in the name of love.  Sisters under the skin? ::)
