One of the nicest guys around and he left us too soon.  I love it that the writer of Grayson's biography has come on board for the new edition.  What I loved about the first book was its sometimes scandalous behind-the-scenes stories you wouldn't find anywhere else.

Yes the new book is over 400 pages in length with new material from interviews of many of the cast including  Humbert based on a 2006 interview, Thayer David based on interviews with his family, Alexandra Isles, and many more with updated credits on all the cast members.

I hope so too! I definitely want a copy and I'd prefer to buy it directly from the author. Makes getting it signed much easier.  [snow_smiley]

So cool!  Luv the "mystery photo."  (It was taken not far from my workplace.)

I was just visiting ZAP2it, which is one of the entertainment sites I visit nearly every day, and a promotional ad to buy the book on Amazon was on display. How cool!  [thumb]

Sorry but I couldn't wait for the Festival. I got the book this week and devoured it in one sitting. It's wonderfully done with lots of stories and anecdotes that I hadn't heard before. Sorry that I missed the little hissy fit between Denise Nickerson and Linda Blair at Chiller Theatre. Meow!

Seriously, it's a great book and a fun read. And I recommend it highly.

I was glad to buy and read the new revised book over the past month or so, but - with all due respect to the authors - I was very disappointed by the large number of inaccuracies I encountered. One example:  after HODS did so well at the box office, the book reports that Warner Bros. wanted a sequel.  Of course, it was MGM that wanted the sequel.  Another example:  the years in which actors performed on the show, or did other work, is often contradictory.  I'm sure this is due to bringing two books, by two different authors, together.  But, these are two examples of many incorrect bits of info in the book--as most die-hard fans will also realize upon reading it.  Is this a damnation of the authors  No.  Just a wish that more thorough proofing and editing will be done in the future.  JMHO.  Brian
