TV, stage and film actor Phillip R. Allen, who guest starred in a single episode of DS as a cop in 1970 PT who questioned Cyrus about the whereabouts of John Yaeger, passed away this month.  Allen's obit in today's NY Times.

Sad news!  and my hat's off once again to Kosmo.  I always thought I knew about some obscure actors, but Kosmo's knowledge of the field leaves me in the dust!

He also played Captain Esteban in Star Trek III.

I just watched that episode the other night and was wondering about him.  He popped up in a lot of television shows over the years, IIRC.  Sad news.
