I know people like to bust chops with the smite thing because two online wisenheimer friends have already emailed me to say they were trying to figure out how to give me a "smite six pack" but can only get one smite in at a time.

Why, Mark - I can't speak for Midnite, but I find your declaration of love for us to be surprising and overwhelming. I had no idea that you were smitten with even one of us - much less both of us. But I must confess that I'll have to do some soul searching before I can declare whether or not I have similarly deep feelings of love for you.

But until then, I hope this small gesture will keep your hopes alive.
