Jim Storm on B&B this week
« on: February 16, 2003, 01:56:23 AM »
I don't think anyone posted this yet but I've been out of the loop with the flu and have not been able to read the post much the past few days.  I saw in our daily paper's soap section today the Jim Storm will be on B&B next Tues and Wed.

Thanks for letting us know. I've never seen his non-DS roles.... may turn on B&B if I get a chance.

Speaking of current soaps.....do any of you get a jolt when David talks about "Dr. Hoffman" when referring to Anna's baby? LOL I can't help it. Wish one of the characters would mention the reference like they did on General Hospital a year or so ago.

Loved hearing the name.  I guess AMC's Dr H won't be around anymore, cuz didn't I hear them say that the character had a stroke?

B&B is Bold and Beautiful. I am not a regular watcher of it but thanks to Soap Opera Digest know pretty much ever character on every soap. I think that Ridge character looks terrible with his long hair.
As far as this winter goes, I am counting the days until I see my first bud. Today we had 3 inches of ice and my windows in the house are so caked with the stuff I can't see outside. Right now it is snowing and those lovely people at the weather channel say it will continue through tomorrow evening. Oh Joy!
I must be feeling better because I am having a glass of wine right now and that can of peanuts upstairs is calling my name :-)

I thought that was Bald and Beautiful!

But I will try to tape, to see JS - thanks for the alert, I love to see the folks in other stuff!  and BTW, Joan B. isn't on IGAS anymore, she was only on a couple of eps. I have them in my archives now!

and we walked the dogs last night, with no hats, no gloves and only one layer of [always optional] clothes!

Having a Gentle Giant morning!
cheers,
Ringo

That's right! I had for gotten that he had a stroke. Darn. That would have been funny if his first name was Jules or Julian.

That's strange - I thought James Storm played Neil Fenmore on Young and the Restless in the mid-80's and his character died. Then his daughter Lauren inherited Fenmore's department store and went over to The Bold and the Beautiful. Is Storm playing a ghost? Or did he play some other character on B&B? (Anyone?)

Here's what cbs.com says about his appearance:

A Storm's Coming In
JIM STORM will reprise the role of Bill Spencer for a few special episodes when Stephanie contacts Bill for a favor. The episodes will begin airing on Wednesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 20.

and his character died. ?)

He got better.

there were some great straight lines in that show!  JS looked much like Ray Wise [the daddy] in Twin Peaks - and even moreso in that screen cap!

I could get into that show- TLATKLS would look good on there! , [llike I need another drain on my time - gad I'm turning into a soccer mom!]

Gotta go get a cuppa joe and a slice of pie,
Ringo

I would say he looks quite good in the capture.   :)
It's nice that's he's gotten some work.  Will he be on for long??

An acquaintance played one of James Storm's scenes from a soap, I think it was this one, several years ago.  He played a lawyer, as I recall.  It was mildly hysterical because his screentime lasted about 10 seconds!  I couldn't believe they had the poor man slog out there for such a limited appearance.

So, he actually had more than 2 lines of dialogue this time?
