This is just a side note: Sci Fi is starting to have a ¢â‚¬Ëœclassic' block of a different ¢â‚¬Ëœclassic' Sci Fi show each day, starting with Febuary 24th from 11:00am-4:00pm (Eastern Standard Time). On March 7th & 31st, Galatica 1980 will be airing. The two parter with Lara Parker and Roger Davis will most likely air on one of those dates, since the show didn't last very long (Sci Fi doesn¢â‚¬Ëœt list the episodes airing for the blocks in March).  Another show in this block is Kolchak: The Night Stalker.

Ah, yes - the infamous St. Patrick's Day Marathon pre-emptions. No doubt featuring demented leprechauns and the like. I'm sure I'll be glued to Sci-Fi, with a glass of green beer in one hand and a shamrock in the other. Not! A true Irishman would never be anywhere but in the local Irish pub on St. Patrick's Day!

I suspect that we'll find, as we get closer to the day, that Sci Fi will preempt DS on February 17, President's Day.  When they realize it means schools are closed and many home from work, too (I being one) they will surely decide another dumb-ass marathon is on order.

Every dumb-ass teenager who skipped school to go to the parade and get shit-faced, waits until the commuter trains to go home.

Know what happens to drunken teenagers when the train rocks from side to side?

Actually, DS is on their schedule on Presidents' Day, and I doubt they'll change it this late in the game.  A missed opportunity for SciFi to disappoint DS fans.  Amazing, huh?
