Well, I don't find it that hard to imagine really. I think there are people who never have the opportunity, and then there are those who just aren't interested.

No, I don't think you are. Not everyone has a strong libido. There are even instances of people so devoted to the life of the mind that they showed little or no interest in physical relations. A few great minds such as Isaac Newton and the German philosopher Immanuel Kant spring to mind as probable examples. Unlike that deranged man in Times Square, however, their sexual energies were redirected into something positive and universal.
Sorry if that sounds a bit pompous!
And as for people not feeling any sympathy for the scamming victim, I still don't think that what she did - bad as it was - in any way excuses murder. After all, what is worse - losing your money or losing your life?
