Shakespeare buffs? Visit Jonathan Frid's website
« on: January 13, 2003, 10:02:55 PM »
Jonathan has started adding some material to his website in preparation for a "treatment" of Richard III, a role he played with great success on the stage some years ago.  If you are an English history buff, or enjoy Shakespeare, you might want to keep your eye out for the constant updating of this portion of his website.

As usual, Jonathan welcomes your feedback on the material in the feedback section of the website, located at the Visitor's Corner.

It's not hard to see just how serious Jonathan was about wanting to become a drama professor; it was what he was training himself for before a certain part came his way . . .:)

Sure, you can request Poe's Tell Tale Heart.  The other piece you are thinking of is "Here There Be Tygers" by Stephen King.   And as Jonathan has introduced it on occasion:

"Now here is a delightful tale by Stephen King . . . imagine a delightful tale by Stephen King."

Frid's dramatic readings are so-o-o good.  I would buy a CD of his readings in a flash.

Unfortunately, I am unable to hear his recitations on the website that you mention because I only have access to computers in computer labs, where there is no sound available.  Que lastima.

I'm sure there would be a market for such a CD ...
