Recently watched the episode in which DS hottie Brian Sturdivant made his first appearance -- looking quite delicious in his bellhop costume.  I've heard stories that a disagreement with Dan Curtis led to the abrupt curtailment of the storyline involving his second DS character, Claude North.  A shame, really, as he could have easily filled the hottie void created by the departure of Don Briscoe, albeit in a different style (roguishly sexy) than that of Briscoe (introspective dreamboat).

Wonder where he is today?

I thought Claude North (especailly in his earlier episodes) was amazing.  I wasn't aware he played another role.  What are the episode numbers where he played a bellhop?

I finally got hold of a copy of Diary of a Mad Housewife but haven't had time to watch it.  I remember you said Sturdivant appears in a party sequence in that film.

I liked him too. I thought having the bellhop was an inspired idea, and he grabbed the part and ran with it, once again proving that there are no small roles, only small actor.

Thanks Midnite, I remember the episode now, though I never recognized him before.
