I heard on the news that Depp explained the poor results for "Rum Diary" in a British interview by saying that it was too intelligent, and outside of some large cities, they don't want that.

mcqueen is certainly fitting for the gothic nature of DS...

and green looks GORGEOUS as a brunette...i wonder why burton chose to make everyone in the movie a blonde?

Love the leopard-print slingback pumps on Green!  The perfect accent for that gown.  The lipstick is just way too loud for me, although it may be the fault of the photog dialling the color up too high.

Interestingly enough, Eva Green is a natural blonde - but I *think* DS might the first film that she actually appears in with her natural hair color.
