I read the article.  It caused me think about the mentioned short-lived WB DS 2004.  If, the pilot had succeeded and had gone into production, what are the chances that the series would have had some of the supernatural elements that the original series had? The WB version would have been set during current times.  It would be interesting to have a caravan of gypsies or wherewolves or even Zombies circling a modern day Collinwood.
