The part of Barnabas will be played today by.....

Pee-Wee Herman!

The secret word is: SECRET!  [you know what to do!]

Laura the Fire Lady and Dirk the Cowboy dig up an old book, Pee-Wee [in a long rain coat]  catches them.

"You're not human" she says to Pee-Wee.  'I know what you are, but what am I' Pee-Wee retorts.

Later, Pee-Wee tells Nora-Bora a little SECRET!

Nora-Bora: I like SECRETS! [scream!!!!]

Then Pee-Wee goes to see Miss Chastity Tra$h...

Miss Chastity asks Pee-Wee to leave before her Father finds out.  'My Father doesn't allow visitors' [to camera] 'so remember kiddies, never let anyone in your playhouse if you are alone.'  Pee-Wee wraps his raincoat around her and they do the Hokey-pokey [we cut to a cartoon about the Ant Farm, thanks to the King of Cartoons and ABC censor]

After the cartoon, Pee-Wee is spent and splits.  There is a knock at the door.  'Let's see who it is!'  It's Laura the fire lady! 'I want to speak to Nora-Bora - she knows a secret' [Scream!]

Cut to Cowboy Dirk as he opens the Magic Coffin.  Pterri flys by - cut back to Pee-Wee at the Old Playhouse, as Laura the fire lady prepares a steak.  She is stopped by Countess the Cow [in her best green Moo-moo]  Laura and the Countess discuss 'Happy Women in the Playhouse'  Would Pee-Wee choose you?  Would Dirk the Cowboy choose you?  Eat more chicken!

Countess the Cow goes upstairs to find Jambi the Gypsy and tells her to go get Conky the Q-man.  Jambi goes to the Big Playhouse on the Hill, finds Conky drunk [not a big SECRET] [SCREAM!] 'I prefer to lie down' Conky sez.  Jambi laughs when Conky falls up the stairs. 'The Countess isn't like your other women'  Jambi tell Conky. 'She's a real....er, witch!'

He goes to the Countess, who is sitting on Chairy.  'Laura the Fire lady has put a spell on the Playhouse'  she tells Conky.  She calls for Jambi and tells her to steal the SECRET [SCREAM!]. 'My only love is Pee-Wee' she sez.

Jambi goes to Laura's and sez 'You know Pee-Wee's SECRET' [SCREAM!] I will grant you ONE wish! and tells her another way to whack Pee-Wee: Put Penny on his......eyes [quick cut to a Penny short, she sits on Pee-Wee's....eyes.  'A woman's place is on my face' sez Pee-Wee.]

Jambi looks around Laura's room, finds what she is looking for behind a pillow: Globey!

Back at Conky's, Countess the Cow tells him she will take care of Laura the fire lady with a little dolly if he will read her a story about Egypt.  [In the Magic Screen, we see Laura looking for her stolen Globey]

Pterri drops Pee-Wee back into the scene and he sez:
'Let's all go to the movies!'

Ringo,
Was this for his HBO special or for the CBS series?

Ps.  Cut back a little on Prof. Stokes stash or don't mix it with caffiene.  What a riot,  I had to read it twice.

Oh damn.  I don't get any of this.  I've never seen Pee Wee Herman.

Always missing out on funny stuff,

PS  I know who Todd Rundgren is because a girl my husband used to live with was madly in love with Todd and always comparing them and my husband hates his guts.  LOL

This was a hoot, Ringo. A little advance warning for those of us who tend to drink coffee at the keyboard would be appreciated, though.

;)

What a crack up! And after watching our Playhouse collection eighty-seven thousand times,  I can verify that it is pretty darn accurate too!

But, the Reubens pedophile charges  aren't so funny and I am pissed off. I'm torn between wanting him to be innocent and not wanting to be a gullible sap. When he was arrested before, my exact words were "Well, at least it didn't have anything to do with children!" Well, crap, now it does.

Mark...seeing Ringo's name in the header should be enough warning to put the coffee down!

Ringo...the man...writing about Peewee....gives new meaning to "we sing, we dance...we don't need pants!"

Todd Rundgren has Ange singing "Hello It's Me" when she stops Laura!...just a thought....
