Now, the question every DS fan must answer at one time or another......

BARNABAS     or          QUENTIN

Have fun!

 Barnabas or Quentin?

Neither.

End of debate.

Nope, the answer is still ROGER. I'm too old for Barney and his melodrama bores me now that I'm not 13. Quentin is adorable, but I want someone who will be faithful and not running off falling in love with a twit. (Doesn't mean I don't enjoy looking though...)

Roger and I will be very happy together.

Quentin was very effective at rescuing Barnabas when Petofi was holding Barnabas captive in the coffin.  He was cunning, clever and brave.

No debate at all.  LOL

Actually, I choose 1840 Quentin.  I want to marry him.
Sensitive, brave, affectionate, well-mannered, loyal, intelligent, and the most beautiful person on the face of the earth.  (In a nutshell).

Claude North, of course... :)

Actually, if forced to choose between Barnabas and Quentin, I'd go with Quentin.  Neither one is much of a catch, with their respective curses and tendencies to attract trouble, but at least Quentin seems capable of letting loose and having fun once in a while.

Regards,

John

Barnabas forever.

Quentin was wonderful eye candy, but Barnabas had substance!

Ah...but he's SO much more than eye candy.

(Barnabas had substance?  I'm not even gonna suggest what that substance might be).  ROFL
No...sorry...sorry...just kidding.

Ya know, once a couple of years ago, I got into this silly message thing back and forth with someone who said Quentin had cooties.  So I said Barnabas had cooties, and it went back and forth for I don't know how long.
LOL

Ahem ... not that I'm the type to do this sort of thing, but for a romantic fling I'd definitely pick Quentin the Cutie.

However, for a friend, it's Barnabas hands-down, because I think he'd be a faithful one.

When I first watched the show I was about 8 years old.  I fell in love with Barnabas.  He was the father figure I wanted in my life.  I know don't laugh.  I didn't have one so what would an 8 year old know about it.  He was elegant, rich and lived in a big old house I would have loved to explore.  However, I would have probably chosen Quentin if I had been a little older but still naive.

I would do anything, and I mean anything for Barnabas.  I would be his maid, do errands for him, run his nice steaming bath, read him a story, comb his hair, tuck him in bed (heh-heh) , feed him breakfast and more.

Quentin's nice.....but Barnabas, well..............

The two aren't really comparable, IMHO.  I love them both, but for different reasons.  Barnabas (except for when he's bad) is like a benevolent uncle whom you'd turn to in scary or tough times.  He'd be a faithful friend and an interesting conversationalist - I could listen to that voice of his all day and night.

Quentin on the other hand, you cannot rely on for a thing - except to follow his own (usually prurient) interests.  He's totally gorgeous, but as we see him now on the show he's a selfish bad boy.  Granted, that can be attractive, but only for a limited run.

To sum it up - for a confidante or for someone to have my back in a supernatural throwdown, I choose Barnabas.  If it's a night of kinky passion, it's Quentin all the way!
