[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

Set-up:
VW: "It's from someone named Peter Bradford, who says he just stopped in on his way to 1968 to say hi.   He says he's very confused, that he's in love with someone named Phyllis Wick, and doesn't know what he'd be time travelling for."
CS: "Last week he left me a letter saying __________!"

Don't eat the leaves at Professor Stokes' house.
