With Marion Ross’ connection to Paul Michael (King Johnny Romano), and I believe I read of her attending at least one convention with him, I thought this might qualify as related.
It seems the Happy Days characters are being prominently used on gambling machines and all sorts of other merchandise. Their contracts called for a percentage of such income going to them, but apparently it isn’t. CBS claims to agree that they owe them, but in amounts like $8,000, whereas they think they are owed millions. Anson Williams, Marion Ross, Don Most, Erin Moran and the Estate of Tom Bosley are suing. The four of them were on CNN talking about it. They are also saying how this could influence this sort of situation with other shows in the future.
