We are sorry to break the news to all the fans of "Dark Shadows", actor Dennis Patrick had passed away in a Hollywood Hills fire in Los Angeles. He was found dead next to his dog.

Dennis Patrick was known as Jason McGuire on "Dark Shadows" in 1967 but he came back to the show in 1969 to play Paul Stoddard. He was famous as Bill Compton on the R-Rated motion picture "Joe" which co-stared Susan Sarandon in 1970 that same year he married actress Barbra Cason who passed away in 1990 filled in for Clarence Blackburn as Mrs. Johnson the housekeeper on "House of Dark Shadows" which he played Sheriff George Patterson, he was also famous for Vaughn Leland from 1979-1984 on the longest running night time serial "Dallas." He was the first Television Vampire on Stage 13 in 1951. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennslyvania on March 14,1918. He was 84 years old.

This was written a long time ago however, I wanted to say how much I miss Dennis at the fest.  I have never been but he was great fun on all the videos I have seen. Godspeed Dennis! :)
