Flora was thrilled when Gerard asked her to go to Collinsport Novemberfest with him, and even more thrilled when he said he wanted to go on the ________ Ride with her.

(Though something I just realized is that this ep aired in December, so Novemberfest must have been over! So what nefarious plan(s) was(were) Gerard really plotting? And why was Flora willing to go along with it?! The answers to those questions should be speculated in this set up:
