All of the hints of murder, and then Vicki asking if she could ever forgive the person who did it and in quite a tortured manner, she replies, "no." All of her reactions stem from her knowledge of what happened and her own guilt, but it would clearly look like the reaction of someone who has suddenly lost a close friend in this manner, and so seem convincing to the others.

All of the Barnabas - Julia scenes were quite good. The way he forces her to remember all of the clues being left behind and making her pick them up herself. And then, later, at the house, his emphasis on how they need each other now and that she has no one else.

Barnabas was a MAJOR SOB during this part of the story - anyone who gave him the slightest amount of trouble was a candidate for offing. Maggie's memory is returning, she's got to go. Willie might come out of his coma and start talking, let's get rid of him. Barnabas really was truly evil during his early days on the show....I thought he had a lot of nerve blaming Julia for his aging process...."You gave me hope to live as a regular man, than crushed it, I'll never forgive you for this...."

That made me mad. Julia warned him against rushing the treatments but he insisted on it anyway....he had no one to blame but himself for what had happened.

Also didn't like his plotting to kill David or Maggie, especially David since he was family....had he indeed killed one or perhaps both of them I think Sarah might just have been mad enough to expose him. She certainly didn't like his [spoiler]killing of Dr. Woodard.[/spoiler]

Barnabas was always a fascinating character to watch, but all in all I prefer the 1795 and post 1795 from there afterwards Barnabas, where he became more humane. True sometimes even then we got a glimpse of the "old" rotten Barnabas (emotional wise) now and then but at least he did become somewhat more considerate and more feeling towards other people.
