I'm surprised that no one seems to have figured it out. But it's going to become much more apparent very soon. In fact, it should become more apparent with every day that gets closer to it happening...

What was being referred to last time should definitely be clearer. And people may feel a bit foolish if they don't figure it out before the next schedule is posted...

Does no one have access to a calendar - nor is anyone able to visualize one in their mind?  

It does seem to me that if we go right from the episode 1245 to episode 1 in the Watching Project without a decent interval for mourning, then we'll be watching episode 1 on the 45th anniversary of its original broadcast, but I'm not sure that qualifies as a Happening.

Qualifies as one for me because that's exactly what I was referring to (not to mention that the subsequent eps will all be coinciding with their original airdates as well until we decide to take some sort of a break at some point) - though I didn't actually say it was a Happening, only that it was something that was going to happen very soon. But what I find interesting is that it wasn't even planned - it's just working out that way completely on its own.

As for an interval for mourning, there was never one when the Sci-Fi Channel ran DS - it always went right from Ep #1245 to Ep #1 on the very same day. At least with the Watching Project there will be three days in between.  

So we start all over again once the current cycle is over? I'm delighted, because I didn't sign on to this board until close to the end of RT 1840/1841.

We haven't actually done the pre-Barn eps yet. A lot of people still didn't own them when the Watching Project began back in January of '07, so we kicked off with Ep #210. But a lot more people have indicated that they've gotten the pre-Barn eps since then and they're really looking forward to watching them as part of the WP (and perhaps even others will follow along with the Robservations). And the fact that the schedule for watching the pre-Barn eps is going to coincide with the 45th Anniversary of their original airdates is really too serendipitous not to do them.  

Cool!

If I had my druthers, the Project would start with Episode 1, but I don't have Episode 1, and it would set a dangerous precedent if the Project Initiator didn't have a clue what was going on.

It's fun going back and looking at Current Talk from the first half of 2007: lots of interesting topics.  Thank you, moderators, for keeping them available!

I've already posted on episode 1!   Come and emulate me in this matter, as all people should do in all things...

I was frustrated today because I lost my Internet connection soon after I made a couple posts this morning. Then it came back, I made a couple more posts, and then I lost it again for several hours because, after calling my provider, I learned they were having trouble with their network. So, I wasn't able to post half the things that I had planned to (like the CTP/FITBs captures for Ep #1). Instead I decided to go out with a friend and make a day of it doing other things. I just got home a few minutes ago. But we had so much fun that I'm exhausted, so all the things I would have posted today will just have to wait until tomorrow.
