If you, like Barnabas, could change the course of history for the Collins Family, what would you do and why? It can relate to any of the storylines. Have fun!

SPOILERS. . .

Let Vicki find out who her parents were.  It's always bothered me to know that one loose end was never tied up.

Let Willie marry his Roxanne and have a happy, fulfilled life.  He deserves it.  He more than paid his dues.

Go back in time and prevent Barnabas from sleeping with Angelique in Martinique.  If I had to, I'd sleep with Barnabas myself!  It's worth the sactifice, damn it!

Let Jenny Collins die of natural causes and Quentin fall in love with Beth--for real.  She should have been his one true love.

Prevent Roger from marrying Laura and Liz from marrying Paul.  I realize this negates both Carolyn and David, but hey, if Liz and Rog marry better partners, they might have better kids!

Love, Robin

I love your ideas, Robin. They are food for fan fiction fodder.

A story written by Mary Overstreet called "Summer's Son" gives us an idea of what Willie could have had with Roxanne. I bought it through Kathy Resch, publisher of The World of Dark Shadows.

While reading it, you could only wish Willie said NO to Barnabas and had his life with Roxanne.

;)  ;)  ;) I agree with Robin, let Quentin and Beth live happily ever after, but then we wouldn't have the wonderful stories re Quentin through the centuries.  If they lived happily ever after, they would be stuck in their time, and Q could not meet Barnabus and Julia, etc.

Where are they getting these bodies, Mulder,  are they making them?

I would go back to 1840 and prevent Lamar Trask from shooting Angelique; she and Barnabas could then live out their mortal lives in that time period while Julia and Professor Stokes could return to the present day together and start dating each other.

I would prevent the 1840 death of Ben Stokes. He died in such a grusome way. I remember Professor Stokes telling Barnabas and Julia that Ben lived a long life and died of natural causes, but they changed it for 1840. I wish they would've kept it the way it originally was.

agree with all your suggestions Robin(except one see below) plus the one  about Ben, Victoria Rox,but also wanted to add
tie up the Chris Jenning's curse i always thought it was stupid they didn't end his curse the thought of him ,Sabrina, and poor little Amy traveling around that way made me mad!
sorry Vam and Dr Lang the Barnabas sudden love for Angelique never worked for me!
Also the Jeff Clark return in the Jeb Hawkes story i'd lose along WITH THAT STUPID NOOSE!
It was pretty lame
also the way they shipped Maggie off to WyndCliff
was pretty mean I'd have her come back richer than the Collin's family ,marry Willie, and buy the town! (sorry Willie's Roxanne)
David would demand to go to prep school and find some normal friends!
Quentin would find a girl named Annie and run off to Rome!
Well Hallie and Amanda well they wouldn't exist! Heehee!

I'd like to see Quentin & Beth get together and stay together to live out a happy, normal life.

Like Robin mentioned, I'd also like to have Vicky find out about her true parentage.

I'd also like to go back and change Adam's farewell visit. I'd have him come back minus all the scars and have him and Carolyn finally get together and be happy.

I also would go back and prevent the death of Bill Malloy and would liked to have seen him and Elizabeth get together. I think she could have been happy with him.
Like someone else said I'd also go back and prevent the death of Angelique and have her finally get her wish after all these centuries of having Barnabas realizing that he really did love her. ;-)

Another change I'd make is to have Roger finally realize that his one true love is living right under the same roof as him - JULIA!

Change the death of Naomi Collins and have her live out her life naturally.  With Abigail gone, maybe she'd finally have the run of the household and be in charge of her own home!

Prevent the break up of Maggie and Joe and have these two live happily after after.

Oh and lastly, but certainly not least, I'd go back and stop Charles D.Tate from painting that portrait of Amanda Harris!

Robin has stated very good changes.
I especially liked how she would make the
ultimate "sacrifice" of making love with Barnabas!
LOL!

Well, you know Robin!  Always putting other's needs ahead of her own!  A true humanitarian.
In fact, ya know what?  Robin has inspired me.  I too, offer to go back in time and sleep with Quentin -- teach him what REAL love is all about.  LOL

(SOMEONE'S got to straighten that boy out).

Now Connie. I know you would give up your valuable
time and energy to straighten Quentin out, but I know
you would just be so unhappy having to make that
"sacrifice"- - - so I am willing to volunteer to be the one
to straighten him up. [wavey]
