The Doctor Woodards in Movies

Watching The Exorcist one day I was mildly amused to see the original Dr. Woodard, Robert Gerringer in the movie.  then, I was watching The Possesion of Joel Delaney, and to my enjoyment, there was Sturgeon in the movie.  Interesting as the Shirley MacLaine connection to both movies.  Now, I just watched King of the Gypsies and I just read that Gerringer was in that movie as well, but i did not see him.  Must watch again. 

It's fun when you are watching something and you see your Collinsport neighbors doing other things.

i haven't seen "the exorcist" in many years since before my DS days. who did gerringer play?

i'd watch it myself but it remains the one movie i cannot watch. it terrified me as a child and continues to do so to this day. even now when i see linda blair as a middle aged woman she scares the hell out of me.

Peter Turgeon was in Airport from 1970, playing the infamous dumbest plane passenger ever!

Turgeon was in a teen coming of age movie called Last Summer (1969).

I remember that back in '73 when Gerringer came on screen I said to the friends I was with in a voice a bit louder than a whisper, "Oh my God, it's Dr. Woodard!" - and a few of the people around me looked over like, "What's wrong with that boy?"
