For better or worse, we were spared the type of integrated commercials that were part of prime time. I can just picture Mrs. Johnson sitting David and Amy down at the breakfast table and telling them that there would no tampering with bleeder valves without a nutritious breakfast like Post Alpha Bits. Of course, Mrs. Johnson would likely ignore that they had used the Alpha Bits to spell redrum.

It probably wouldn't have happened in the 1960's but I can very easily picture Carolyn Stoddard being in heavy demand for contraceptive products.
