OT: Night og the Iguana
« on: November 26, 2010, 02:08:17 AM »
TCM host Robert Osborne gave a small, but humble tribute to Grayson Hall for Night of the Iguana, which is airing now.
I get a kick out of these guys who think they're so clean, when all the time they're trying to cover up their dirt.

Wow.  Robert Osborne actually said Grayson's name.  Wish I'd been there to see that minor miracle.

I sort of owe you a review of that film, Janet.

Yes, you do. So get to it!

Well first of all, the iguana was in top form, and managed to step on Richard Burton and then suck out all the juicy bits with no problem, so I give its performance three stars.   Grayson was truly a heroine to be reckoned with, as she drove the bus right into the maw of the gargantuan uberlizard, and set of the bus's self-destruct device, which, thanks to its matter anti-matter engines, destroyed three-quarters of Mexico.

It's been awhile since I saw the movie, so I may have gotten a few of the details wrong.

What exactly did Mr. Osbourne say about Grayson?
